These oils are used in compressors, pumps and gearboxes in pressure and/or vacuum applications where oxygen and oxidizing gases are involved. Inert, non-corrosive and non-flammable, these synthetic chlorotrifluoroethylene oils are extremely helpful in the safe handling of highly reactive or corrosive liquids.
piston and vane pumps, as well as pumps that are used for pumping liquid oxygen and flammable gases. Because of its higher viscosity it should go into larger pumps. This fluid has low vapor pressure and excellent chemical resistance and can be reclaimed many times. Grades are H-190, having the higher viscosity for rotary piston pumps, and H-100, a lower viscosity for rotary vane pumps. This product is reclaimable!

TMC-20 Mechanical / Diffusion Pump Oil
TMC-20 is a severely hydrotreated paraffinic oil that is double-distilled through a molecular distillation process to remove light end fractions. It is highly saturated and contains less than 0.01% sulfur. Exceptional long life and vacuum performance, with reduced build-up of varnish and/or carbon deposits on internal components. This product is reclaimable!
Not recommended for oxygen and highly reactive gas loads. The price and quality make this the perfect choice for many applications, even where lower cost oils are used.
· Double Vacuum distillation · Excellent lubricating qualities · Reduced backstreaming · Excellent vapor pressure characteristics
TMC-19 Mechanical Vacuum Pump Oil
TMC-19 mechanical pump fluid. An affordable molecularly distilled hydrotreated paraffinic oil for use in mechanical vacuum pumps. Good vapor pressure and low backstreaming make this a good choice for non-corrosive vacuum applications. This product will support vapor pressures down to 1x10-5 Torr. If deeper vacuum is desired, TMC-20 would be a better choice.
Not recommended for oxygen and highly reactive gas loads. The price and quality make this the perfect choice for many applications, even where lower cost oils are used.
Technical White Oils
A low cost hydrocarbon oil used in mechanical pumps and as a flushing fluid. Choices include viscosities ranging from 22 cSt to 75 cSt. These are clear fluids containing less that 10 ppm sulfur.
Flushing fluids are used to remove light residues left behind by the old oil after draining the pump. Heavy sludge build-up may require the use of a more aggressive cleaning fluid. It can be used in all rotary vane and piston pumps. After flushing, the pump can be refilled with either TMC-19 or TMC-20 Oil.
Not recommended for oxygen and highly reactive gas loads. The price and quality make this the perfect choice for many applications, even where lower cost oils are used.
