Macro-36 CMS stills (centrifugal molecular stills) are capable of distilling up to 400lbs/hr. and are short path thin film. Each has 7 s.f. of evaporating surface and can achieve a vacuum of 5-10 microns giving the following advantages over conventional processing:

• Low residence time and therefore minimum thermal hazard to decomposition.
• Low temperature distillation of high boilers.
• Vacuum deodorization of high molecular weight oils, fats and waxes
• Removal of color bodies
• Removal of reactant components to improve shelf life
